While I was born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, I found my love of photography during my first international trip with the People to People Student Ambassadors back in 2001. I didn't have reliable acquaintances to model for me back then and with limited funds from my part-time job working at a movie theater along with no contacts to hiring professionals I instead focused on scenic shots of the various places I'd travel. Visiting places like New Zealand, Fiji, Australia, England, Ireland, and Wales along with road trips across Texas and around the United States, I was able to see some beautiful sights and occasionally captured some of those moments to share with others.
Over the years since then I've fallen in and out of practicing my photography yet always came back to it with more inspiration and passion than the last time. It wasn't until the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse was to happen that I dove back into photography after a lengthy hiatus. After asking off from work, finding and booking a hotel along the path of the total eclipse, purchasing a lens and appropriate filter, and mapping over a dozen locations to view the eclipse at depending on the weather, I found that my camera body was a model earlier than a required feature to safely view and photograph the event. Because of all the work and effort already put into this trip, I bit the bullet to get the latest camera body I could afford and haven't regretted it for a second. I did the trip, which went off without a hitch, and ended up catching that spark again in photography.
Since the eclipse I've been working with numerous family, extended family, friends, friends of friends, and local professional actors, dancers, and models to build my portfolio while trying various techniques I learn or come up with and collaborate on ideas with.
I do both studio rentals and on-location shooting and enjoy finding new places to use. While I'd say I have a wide range of photography styles I enjoy from classic portraits to (limited) fetish work and cosplay to family and couples, artistic nude work will always have my heart in photography.
